The Big Climb is a favorite Seattle event and amazing community fundraiser. More than 6,000 people climb 69 flights of stairs to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
The Big Climb is a stairclimb up the Columbia Center ? the tallest skyscraper in downtown Seattle . Although it will be challenging, it pales in comparison to what blood cancer patients go through. All proceeds benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Momentum 4 Mitchell team. The goal is to raise funds for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in his name. He is the 13 year old son of our dear friend Mia?s sister, Kari. They live in Spokane , WA . He was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) on September 7, 2011 on his first day of 8th grade. Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) is a cancer of the bone marrow and blood that progresses rapidly without treatment. He has been having ongoing treatment, which is primarily aggressive chemotherapy, at Sacred Heart Childrens Hospital in Spokane .
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is the world?s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The mission of LLS is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin?s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
